POSITION SUMMARY:

NewsChannel 8 is looking for an associate producer to stack and compile rundowns.  Producer will be responsible for selecting pre-taped segments, inserting them into a digital rundown and updating stories as needed.  Producer will also refresh the rundown continuously throughout the afternoon, helping record fresh news segments and inserting those segments into the digital broadcast.  Qualified candidates must be able to work in a fast and concise manner under pressure. 



QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates must be able to work in a fast and concise manner under pressure. Newsroom experience, strong writing and technical skills are required. Ability to produce newscasts in a live and live-to-tape news wheel operation is preferred. Knowledge of ENPS is a plus. Send resume with cover letter to: hr@wjla.com EEOC
